About Divine Life Church

Divine Life Church is a non-profit, non-denominational Christian church dedicated to worship, prayer, Biblical teaching, fellowship, and family. We are a loving community of believers who believe in Jesus Christ and in the Trinity — the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.


We desire to create an atmosphere where individuals and families can grow spiritually, encourage one another, and experience the transforming love of God.

Our Story

Divine Life Church began in May 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic. At a time when many people felt isolated and uncertain, we met with other believers in our home with the purpose of providing a place where believers could continue worshipping our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, remain close to God, encourage one another, and be strengthened through prayer and the Word.


Before we established Divine Life Church, Senior Pastor Lonnie Pearson Sr. and Elect Lady Wendy Pearson, who also served as an elder, trained and served in ministry for more than 20 years. The church currently remains under the apostolic covering of Apostle Dr. Alvernon Harris and Emeritus Dr. Janie Harris.


At Divine Life Church, we have also been blessed with two associate pastors: Pastor Trish Cummings of Perris, California, and Pastor Dr. Shirley Davis. We are grateful for the dedicated ministers, leaders, and members who have joined this ministry and continue helping us serve God’s people.

Our Ministries

One of the ways we fulfill our purpose of encouraging one another and being strengthened by the Word is by holding different worship services and ministry gatherings throughout the week. Our weekly worship service is held every Sunday at 10:30 a.m. We also hold a Tuesday prayer meeting, Wednesday Bible study, children’s ministry gathering, and other meetings during the week. Each gathering is designed to help bring you closer to God and provide an opportunity for you to fellowship with other believers.
